Disney Launches New 'Dream Big Princess' Filmmaking Initiative That Will Use iPhone X and Final Cut Pro. Disney has selected aspiring filmmakers from around the world, who will be tasked with "telling the stories of inspiring female role models." Each filmmaker will be paired with an inspirational interview subject, such as director and screenwriter Jennifer Lee, who also serves as the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Mobile phone filmmaking. Filmmaking doesn't have to cost a fortune anymore. The advent of mobile phone filmmaking and inexpensive add-ons have made it easier to create masterpieces with no budgets. The article talks about lenses, gimbals, recorders and external microphones.

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is a different beast. The three-year-old camera sees its first overhaul, and not only is it a lot more powerful, it's priced within the reach of prosumers. The review details some of the most important features including frame rate, connections, storage options, iso and image sensor. Since the unit hasn't been released, there was no hands on review available.  
Cheesycam reviews the very affordable Luxi Cello 10" LED Light.  CELLO LED has a new feature for choosing Colored Gels through its menu (or through the smartphone app). This feature adds a new dimension for being able to select a very particular RGB color, and also being able to repeat the choice in the future. Most other RGB Lights have very basic controls for RGB, and not quite as refined as Luxli has done with all of their products.

  1. Ralph, the inclusion of short annotations is always critical to help the reader understand why you chose to include certain items over others. As I read through the above descriptions, in some cases you provide enough to give your readers a sense for inclusion, but are a bit briefer with others. Something to keep in mind as you keep blogging.
